Harassment: State police in Washington reported Scott R. Unfried, 41, of Washington, threatened Casey L. Russi, 28, also of Washington, over the telephone from 11 Scott Road, Amwell, around 9 a.m. Saturday. Police said Unfried will be charged with harassment through District Judge Ethan Ward’s office.
Cellphone stolen: April Birtwell of 1338 Main St., Burgettstown, told McDonald police Oct. 27 a man named Jeff barged into her apartment and stole two cellphones.
Window broken: Kathy Bell of 105 Columbia Drive told Canonsburg police Sunday the dining room window of her home was broken by vandals.
Theft cases: John G. Havrilesko Jr., 41, of 713 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with two counts each of theft and receiving stolen property, court records show. Police accuse him of stealing a lawn mower and car Sept. 16 from his father, Thomas Picinotti, of the same address. Havrilesko is in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond set Friday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Resisting, obstruction arrest: David R. Harden, 32, of 204 Wilson Ave., Washington, was arrested Sunday afternoon by Chartiers police after he allegedly refused to stop interfering with treatment, including CPR, on a possible overdose victim at a home in the 500 block of Galaxy Drive. Police said they struggled with him and had to physically restrain him. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing emergency services. He was placed in Washington County jail on $1,000 bond.
DUI alleged in crash: Mitchell McMullen, 25, of 481 Warrick Drive, South Strabane Township, will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a three-vehicle crash on Route 19 at Linden Road about 5 p.m. Thursday that injured him and another driver, North Strabane police said. Kyler Seigman, 18, of 285 Roupe Road, Eighty Four, told police she was stopped in the left southbound lane waiting to make a turn when she was hit from behind by McMullen’s vehicle. McMullen’s vehicle then struck a vehicle driven by Stephen A. Volosin, 54, of 354 E. McMurray Road, McMurray. Police said McMullen refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test. McMullen and Seigman were slightly injured.
One injured: Autumn DiTullio, 26, of 1205 N. Main St., Washington, was injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Weavertown Road at Chambers Lane, North Strabane police said. A vehicle driven by Gregory Pansino, 18, of 413 Mary Lane, North Strabane, collided with DiTullio’s car when he reportedly pulled from Chambers Lane into the path of her vehicle, police said. DiTullio was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.
Driver faces charges: Daniel Snedeker, 65, of 60 Carl Ave., Eighty Four, faces a charge of DUI after he allegedly crashed into a vehicle driven by Joshua Logan, 18, of New Salem, on Route 519 at Heme Street Sunday night, North Strabane police said. Snedeker was taken to Washington Hospital, where blood was drawn to determine his alcohol level, police said.
Firearms violation: Curtis Blaine Heath, 36, of Pensacola, Fla., was arrested early Saturday by North Strabane police on charges of carrying a firearm without a license and traffic violations after he was stopped during a roving DUI patrol sponsored by the county’s DUI Task Force. He was stopped on Washington Road near Linden Road. When police asked for vehicle information, Heath reportedly told them there was a gun in the glove compartment and he did not have a permit to carry the gun in Pennsylvania. He was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson and released from Washington County jail late Sunday morning after posting $1,000 bond.
Toilet stolen: A resident of Wilbert Avenue told South Strabane police Sunday a man stole a portable toilet from Driscoll Park, 565 Locust Ave. The thief loaded the toilet into a truck, leaving a trail of fluids.
DUI alleged in crash: Anthony Patituci, 31, of 235 W. Chestnut St., Washington, faces a charge of DUI after his vehicle struck a parked tractor-trailer on Washington Road near Cameron Road Friday night, South Strabane police said. He refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test, police said.
Vehicle damaged: Shayla Chandler of 780 Allison Ave. told Washington police Friday her vehicle was damaged when it was kicked and had a bicycle thrown at it.
Detainer arrest: Nyeacha Wilson, 25, of Wick Haven, faces charges of retail theft, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct after she was taken into custody on a parole detainer when she allegedly stole items from Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St., Friday, Washington police said. She reportedly kicked the back of a police cruiser and banged her head off the divider. Police said it took multiple guards to get her into Washington County jail.
Boy assaulted: A 9-year-old Washington boy told city police Saturday he was kicked in the head and side while on the ground during an attack by two other boys while he played outside his Jollick Manor home.
Three face charges: Maryann Garove, 51, and Jacob Knoneberg, 24, both of 34 Old National Pike, West Alexander, and Dillon Oliver, 23, of 2021 Beham Ridge Road, Claysville, face charges including possession of drug paraphernalia after they were found in a vehicle parked under the Interstate 70 overpass on Jefferson Avenue about 5 p.m. Saturday, Washington police said. Police said they saw Garove with a cellphone charger cord wrapped around her arm with a needle in her arm. Empty stamp bags and a needle were found in the vehicle, police said.
Wallet stolen: Brandon Ludfosky of Washington told city police Sunday his wallet and cellphone were stolen from the Dog House, Jefferson Avenue, after he mistakenly left the items on a table.
Harassment charge: Sierra Kelley, 21, of 139 Church St., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with harassment after she allegedly pulled the hair of Kayley Hughes, 19, of Washington, and shoved her face into the steering wheel and dashboard of a vehicle as they were in the parking lot of GetGo, 101 E. Wylie Ave., Sunday.
Woman assaulted: Emily Sherman, 19, of Washington, told city police early Monday she was assaulted by a man she knows at the intersection of Hall Avenue and Victoria Street. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. Charges are pending against her alleged attacker.
