WAYNESBURG – The Greene County Sheriff’s Office released the following activity for October:

• The office processed 139 civil actions and served 69 documents related to civil actions. It processed one real estate sale and served papers related to seven real estate sales.

• The office processed three personal property actions and served documents related to two personal property actions.

• The office processed six protection-from-abuse actions and served papers related to four protection-from-abuse actions. Five protection-from-abuse violations were investigated.

• The office processed 83 licenses to carry concealed weapons.

• Sheriff’s deputies served one arrest warrant.

• Deputies transported two SCI-Greene inmates and made 56 county transports.

• The office performed three special details and assisted outside law enforcement agencies eight times.

• Deputies performed six traffic stops.

• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 5,385.
