One hurt: A passenger was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon at the intersection of Morganza Road and Bobby Vinton Boulevard, Canonsburg police said. A vehicle driven by Christopher D. Robb, 22, of Pittsburgh, pulled from Vinton and struck the side of a vehicle driven by Cathleen George, 59, of 226 McClelland Road, North Strabane Township, police said. A passenger in George’s vehicle, Richard A. Capiola, 73, of Coupeville, Wash., was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.

Accounts opened: Celeste Marshall of 121 White Way told Canonsburg police Saturday cellphone accounts were opened in her name without her knowledge.

Receiving arrest: Eugenio Mendez, 30, of 573 Isabella Ave., North Charleroi, was arrested Friday by Charleroi Regional police on a charge of receiving stolen property after he allegedly sold a laser level and cap nailer at a pawn shop for $125. The items were reported stolen Thursday from a vehicle parked at the Italian Club in Charleroi. Mendez was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Counterfeit money found: Jalisa Chakara Curtis, 22, and Jerome Eric McCullom, 40, both of Columbus, Ohio, were arrested Friday night by Donegal police on charges of forgery, conspiracy and possession of marijuana stemming from a traffic stop for an equipment violation by Donegal police on Interstate 70 near the Claysville exit. Police said they found the pair with suspected marijuana and 19 counterfeit $100 bills. They were arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bonds.

Fuel pump stolen: A fuel pump owned by Alex Paris Construction of Atlasburg was reported stolen Sunday from a gas well site on McClelland Road, East Finley.

Assault arrest: James Patrick Burns, 45, of 181 Hess Road, Fallowfield, was arrested Sunday by state police on two counts each of simple assault and harassment after he allegedly kicked his wife, Patricia Burns, and then punched her daughter when she tried to separate them during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.

Vehicle damaged: Jaymie Oravetz of McDonald told McDonald police fertilizer was placed in the gasoline tank of her vehicle. The damage was discovered when her vehicle was parked in Midway.

Burglary, theft charges: David West, 31, of 249 Latimer Ave., Strabane, was charged Friday by North Strabane police with burglary, conspiracy, theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing $286 from a locked drawer at the front counter of Super 8, 8 Curry Ave., on Sept. 20. West is seen on surveillance, police said. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

False Identification charge: Anna Nehls, 30, of 6 Vesta Seven Road, Brownsville, was charged Friday by North Strabane police with false identification to police stemming from a Sept. 5 incident in the 400 block of Racetrack Road. She gave police another name because she knew she was wanted on an outstanding warrant, police said. Nehls is in Greene County jail. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Drug charge: Steven Plance, 37, of 531 Duquesne Ave., Canonsburg, was charged Friday by North Strabane police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia after he allegedly was found with suspected Suboxone during a Sept. 4 traffic stop on Interstate 79. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Faces charges: Andrew K. Nozum, 24, of 173 Latimer Ave., Strabane, was charged Monday by North Strabane police with possession of paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police said he was found unresponsive in the seating area of Burger King, 190 Meadowlands Boulevard, on Nov. 2. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Assault arrest: Rebecca Lynn Ellifritz, 27, of 234 Gameland Road, Claysville, was arrested Saturday afternoon by South Strabane police on charges of simple assault, harassment and careless driving stemming from a dispute inside a vehicle on Old Mill Boulevard. Cara Davidson, told police the two had been arguing when she was struck by Ellifritz as the Claysville woman drove. Police said Ellifritz almost caused several accidents. Ellifritz was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Charged in crash: Jon Gaul, 23, of Belle Vernon, was charged by state police with careless driving and failure to stay in his lane after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a utility pole early Sunday on East National Pike near Meyers Road, South Strabane. He and his passengers were not there when police arrived.

Mailboxes damaged: Several residents of Windsor Highlands told South Strabane police over the weekend that their mailboxes were damaged or destroyed when pumpkins were thrown at them by vandals.

Assault charge: Travon Smart, 18, of Pittsburgh, was charged Friday by South Strabane police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in a parking lot at Strabane Square on Oct. 30. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

PFA violation alleged: David W. Henderson, 40, of 11 Old Route 837, Union, was arrested Sunday by Southwest Regional police for allegedly violating a protection-from-abuse order the previous day. Janet Henderson told police that her son returned to the home in violation of the emergency order she obtained that evicted him from the house. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Attempted theft charge: Adam James Blackburn, 27, whose last known address was Wheeling, W.Va., was arrested Sunday morning by Washington police on charges of attempted theft, attempted criminal mischief and possessing instruments of a crime after he allegedly was spotted by an off-duty state trooper trying to break into machines at Ducky’s Car Wash, 100 Henderson Ave. Police said he also is suspected of breaking into a bill changer and damaging a soft drink machine at Splish, Splash car wash, 1170 Jefferson Ave., on Sunday. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Harassment charge: Steven Carlisle, 35, of 700 Summerlea Ave., was charged by Washington police with harassment for allegedly wrestling his wife, Susan Carlisle, 34, to the floor during a confrontation at their home.

Generator stolen: An employee of American Well Service, 1478 Jefferson Ave., told Washington police Sunday a generator was stolen from the property.

Faces charges: Jason Carpenter, 22, of 25 Midland Road, Washington, faces charges of possession of heroin and paraphernalia. He allegedly was found with two stamp bags of suspected heroin, needle and empty stamp bags after police say he apparently overdosed in a building in the 200 block of Jefferson Avenue on Friday. He was found on the floor, bleeding, police said. Charges will be sent from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Windows broken: Thurman Isbell of 49 Seminole Ave. and Nicole Shaffer of 55 Seminole told Washington police that windows were broken in their homes by a group of juveniles Friday.

Package stolen: Garret Linneman of 446 Extension Ave. told Washington police Friday a package delivered by the post office on Oct. 26 was stolen from outside his home.
