Harassment charges: Scott R. Unfried, 41, of 230 Charles St., Canton Township, was charged Thursday by state police with two counts of harassment after he allegedly sent threatening text messages to his ex-girlfriend at her Amwell Township home Oct. 31. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Theft, receiving charges: Christopher M. Montgomery, 30, of 257 Brookside Ave., Washington, was charged Friday by state police with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole a computer tablet and tattoo gun and kit from the home of Eric McCartney, 184 Laurie Lane, Amwell, on Sept. 14, and then tried to sell the items at a pawn shop. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

DUI, drug charges: Amy Jenkins, 28, of Marianna, was charged Tuesday by California police with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of narcotics after she reportedly crashed her vehicle into another vehicle at the gas pumps at Kwik Fill. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Teen charged: A 15-year-old student at California Area High School was charged Monday by California police in a juvenile allegation with access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property. Police determined she used information from several credit cards of the victims to make $3,000 in fraudulent online purchases.

Disorderly house: Destiny Dasia Ringgold, 19, of Monroeville, was charged Tuesday with violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance after police were called Oct. 24 for a report of a noisy party at her Vulcan Village apartment. Police said a large number of people were there, and officers could smell marijuana.

DUI, resisting arrest charges: Shannon Elizabeth Guernsey, 24, of 228 Locust Ave., Houston, was arrested early Tuesday by state police on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and several traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop on Pike Street near Chartiers-Houston High School. Police said they saw her cross the double-yellow line and stopped her. She was taken to Washington Hospital, where blood was drawn. Police said she became more belligerent as the trooper explained what would happen, and they had to struggle with her to get her hands behind her back. Both she and the trooper ended up on the floor of a room in the hospital’s emergency department, police said. She was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

Assault alleged: Brad J. Keefer, 32, of 30 Zelt St., North Franklin, was charged by North Franklin police with simple assault, harassment and terroristic threats after he allegedly grabbed an 8-year-old boy by the arm and hit him in a face during an incident Monday night at Keefer’s home. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Theft charges: Meghan E. Sappe, 23, of Scottdale, was charged Thursday by North Franklin police with six counts of failure to make required disposition of funds after she allegedly either shorted or failed to make six night deposits totaling $1,105 while working at Claire’s, Washington Crown Center, from mid-October to early November. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Assault, endangerment charges: Anita L. Bolin, 51, of 928 Old National Pike Brownsville, was charged Friday by state police with simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct after she allegedly struck a woman in the shin with her vehicle while leaving a custody exchange on Daley Drive in South Franklin on Sept. 19. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Forgery, theft arrest: Taniya N. Pendley, 20, of Long Island, N.Y., was arrested Monday by South Strabane police on charges of forgery, attempted theft, theft of services, attempted theft by deception and theft by deception after she allegedly tried to use an invalid $100 travelers check to purchase food at TGI Friday’s, Strabane Square. She was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.

Money stolen: An employee of Metro PCS, 57 N. Main St., told police Monday two security deposit bags containing a total of $2,234.71 were stolen from the business. Security footage shows a woman taking the bags.

Money, medication stolen: Christine Wimert of 440 Fayette St. said prescription medication, $3,000, a lock box, jewelry and credit cards were stolen from her home.

Game system stolen: Donna Haught of 425 Fayette St. told police Monday a Playstation 3 game system and Madden 15 game were stolen from her home.

Vehicle damaged: Zane Zebrasky of Canonsburg told Washington police Monday his vehicle was damaged Friday while parked either at Washington High School stadium, Tyler Avenue, or the Luxury Box, 427 E. Maiden St.

Man arraigned: Troy Ethridge, 28, of 84 W. Wheeling St., was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on a possession of a controlled substance charge. City police were called to 95 Leonard Ave. on June 5 for a report of a man sleeping on a bench. When an officer approached Ethridge, he allegedly placed two stamp bags of suspected heroin in his shoe. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 18.

Possession charges: Christopher S. Hutchins, 42, and Renae Hutchins, 43, of 263 Prigg Road, Washington, face possession charges after a traffic stop Sunday at the intersection of East Maiden and College streets. State police said they stopped Renae Hutchins just after midnight because the vehicle she was driving did not have headlights on. Police allegedly found a small bag of marijuana, two joints and a metal grinder. According to police, Christopher Hutchins said the bag was his, and he was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana. Renae Hutchins said the joints and grinder belonged to her, and she was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to use vehicle lights, police said.

Marijuana charge: Charles N. Skibo, 48, of Greenville, N.C., was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. State police were called by a passenger on a coach bus Oct. 27 who said she overheard two men talking about having a gun and bullets in their possession. Officers stopped the bus on the Exit 17 off ramp of Interstate 70 and asked two men to step off the bus. A search of Skibo’s luggage allegedly revealed a small bag of marijuana, hemp cigarette papers, a wooden box and a spark plug with suspected marijuana residue.
