Bowlby begins craft program
WAYNESBURG – Eva K. Bowlby Public Library has started a new monthly program catering to adults who love arts and crafts.
Adult Craft Night is a new program that will be offered twice monthly – the first Thursday and second Saturday of each month – with classes for people to learn how to create various crafts.
Fourteen people attended last Thursday’s program and learned how to make an autumn or Christmas burlap wreath. Betsy Riggleman, a staff member at the library, is instructing the classes.
There will be no craft program this Saturday, but it will return next month with a class on how to create a tomato-cage Christmas tree. The cost to attend is $20, which pays for materials.
The next two dates are Thursday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon. Seating is limited, so register early by calling the library at 724-627-9776.
