Boyfriend stabbed with fork
A Cecil Township woman was arrested Monday night after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a campfire fork during a confrontation at their home.
Nicole R. Muncie, 33, of 107 Beech St., Muse, is charged with simple assault and harassment. Township police were called to the home on Beech about 7:25 p.m.
Chris Ritenour told police that Muncie, who he identified as his fiancé, had hit him with a broom and then stabbed him with the fork before fleeing from the residence on foot with her young son.
Police searched the area but could not find her. Ritenour told police he came home and found a half-empty bottle of liquor. The two reportedly got into an argument about her drinking. While the two were on the second floor of the residence, Muncie allegedly threw a cup and pair of scissors at him.
Ritenour said that he went down to the first floor and she followed him. As he tried to walk from the living room to the kitchen, she allegedly hit him with a broom.
He told police he pushed her out of the way and she fell. Muncie then reportedly picked up the fork and tried to stab Ritenour four or five times before scratching him in the chest with it and then stabbing him in the wrist. Police said the fork was more than two feet long with two sharp tines.
Police were still at the residence when Muncie sent Ritenour a text that she was coming home to get her car. Police took her into custody when she arrived. Police said she was intoxicated. Her father took custody of the boy.
Ritenour declined treatment for the puncture wound on his right wrist and abrasion on his chest.
Muncie was arraigned on the charges before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on a $10,000 percentage bond. She is scheduled for a Dec. 1 preliminary hearing at the office of Senior District Judge Jay Dutton.
