Fire reported in Fredericktown

The state police fire marshal was called Tuesday morning when an outbuilding caught fire at the former Clyde Mine property on Front Street in Fredericktown.

East Bethlehem Township police Chief Mark Pompe said the wooden floor burned in the brick building on property now owned by Pechin’s. The fire was reported about 8:15 a.m.

East Bethlehem firefighters were assisted by Centerville and Denbo-Vesta 6 fire departments.
