East Washington police have identified the driver of the minivan that overturned Tuesday afternoon in the 500 block of East Beau Street.

Sara Bell, 35, of Washington, was disoriented after the crash and was unable to tell police what happened. Based on evidence at the scene, police believe she was going west on East Beau when she crossed the center line into the eastbound lane. The van hit a utility pole and overturned.

Bell and her three children, a 2-year-old boy, 3-year-old girl and an infant girl, were taken to Washington Hospital to be checked. Police said all three children were properly restrained in child safety seats.
