Theft charge: Albert Ray Rogers, 29, of 6 Wheeling Creek Mobile Home Park, Wind Ridge, was charged last week with theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy in connection with the May 2014 burglary of a McCracken Road home in Aleppo Township, state police said. Willie W. Jones, 24, of 142 Kuhn Hill Road, Wind Ridge, was charged earlier this month in connection with that burglary.

Assault charge: State police charged William H. Howes Jr., 36, of 652 Lippencott Road, Waynesburg, with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly punched and slapped a woman in the face inside his Morgan Township home about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Stolen chainsaws: Peter V. Fanase, 32, of 387 Hull Run Road, Waynesburg, faces charges of burglary, theft and receiving stolen property after Waynesburg police said he stole three chainsaws from the borough’s public works department Aug. 27.

Two cited in fight: Laben D. Thomas, 21, of 203A W. George St., Carmichaels, and Justin L. Thomas, 23, of 109C N. Vine St., Carmichaels, were each cited for disorderly conduct after a fight Oct. 31 on Huffman Street in Waynesburg.
