GREENSBURG (AP) – State police have cited two women for disorderly conduct for using stun guns like “toys” – and unnerving other customers of a Pennsylvania restaurant in the process.

Trooper Steven Limani says 21-year-old Mercedez Lynn and Kacie Blazowich were zapping the devices – which make a pronounced electric shock sound – at the Primanti Bros. restaurant in Hempfield Township about 11 p.m. Saturday.

Limani announced the citations during a Tuesday news conference.

The women aren’t accused of zapping anyone with the stun guns, but an employee asked them to leave because they were bothering and alarming other customers by playing with the devices at the bar and in a restroom.

Limani says a stun gun “is not a toy. People who use them should understand that.”

Online court records don’t list attorneys for the women.
