Cumberland Township supervisors will sponsor Clean Up Days this Saturday and Sunday each day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the municipal building at 100 Municipal Road. Dumpsters will be available behind the building. Just a reminder that tires, electronics and appliances containing Freon will not be accepted.

Chapter 34 of the Purple Heart will be holding a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Waynesburg VFW building.

Jefferson Baptist Church at 179 Pine St. in Jefferson is offering monthly support group meetings for friends and relatives of those who suffer from substance abuse of any kind. The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the church’s basement. The meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the same time. At this meeting, people can talk to others who are struggling with how to deal with their loves ones who are addicted to alcohol or drugs. Mon View Roller Rink in Greensboro will open for fall skating with the eighth annual “Halloween Skate & Dance,” scheduled for 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30. Admission for the all-ages event is $8 per person.

Cumberland Township’s trick-or-treat will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.
