WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian Tennant released the following activity report for September.

• The office processed 117 civil actions and served 26 documents related to civil actions. It processed three real estate sales and served papers related to 13 real estate sales.

• The office processed three personal property actions and served documents related to two personal property actions.

• The office processed 10 protection from abuse actions and served papers related to 11 protection-from-abuse actions. Four protection-from-abuse violations were investigated.

• The office processed 82 licenses to carry concealed weapons.

• Sheriff’s deputies served three arrest warrants.

• Deputies transported four SCI-Greene inmates and made 56 county transports.

• The office performed two special details and assisted outside law enforcement agencies five times.

• Deputies performed eight traffic stops.

• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 5,430.
