Jefferson United Methodist will hold a roast pork dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jefferson Community Center. Menu includes roast pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, sauerkraut, homemade applesauce, green beans, candy carrots, rolls and desert. The cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

The John Corbly Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at noon Saturday at The Perfect Round at Rohanna’s. Members are asked to bring nonperishable items for the Greene County Food Cupboard.

Rices Landing Borough will celebrate Halloween Sunday, Oct. 25, with a parade at 1 p.m. from Hewitt Presbyterian Church to the American Legion hall. Trick or treat will follow from 2 to 4 p.m.
