A Pittsburgh man wanted in connection with a home invasion Oct. 9 in Monongahela was apprehended.

Anthony Lamont Green, 42, was arrested Wednesday in Pittsburgh on a probation detainer.

He was arraigned Thursday by District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of robbery, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, conspiracy and a firearms charge, and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

A second man, Wilbur Lee Larkin Jr., 40, of Donora, remains at large.

The two men allegedly entered a home at 10 Loop St. at 2 p.m. Oct. 9. One of the men held a pistol to the neck of a man inside and demanded money. The man threw $100 on the floor, Monongahela police Chief Brian Tempest said. A woman in the living room went out the door but was stopped on the porch by the second man, who pointed a pistol to her chest, police said. She told police she recognized the pistol as hers, and later determined it had been taken from the glovebox of her parked vehicle. Both men then ran toward nearby railroad tracks.

The man was able to identify Larkin as one of the suspects and provided police with a nickname for Green, leading to charges being filed, Tempest said.

Green faces a preliminary hearing Oct. 28 before District Judge Mark Wilson.
