Two face drug charges
Two people were arraigned recently on drug charges filed by the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, whose detectives have been working in the Monongahela area.
Joshua A. Billion, 27, no address available, was picked up in the Dunlevy area Thursday night on a probation detainer. He faces charges of possession and delivery of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Billion allegedly sold a bundle of heroin to an undercover detective in September in the 1200 block of West Main Street. He was placed in Washington County jail on the detainer, and will be arrraigned Monday on the drug charges.
Star R. Jennion, 32, of Main Street, New Eagle, was apprehended Sept. 30 on a probation detainer.
She faces two counts each of possession and delivery of heroin and possession of paraphernalia. She allegedly sold bundles of heroin to undercover officers on two occasions in September on Chess Street in New Eagle and in Monongahela. She is in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 5.
“We reached out to the drug task force due to the heroin problem in the city, and they responded,” Monongahela police Chief Brian Tempest said. “Additional drug arrests are going to be made.”
