Burglary: An old barn used for storage at 1618 Aleppo Road was broken into between Oct. 10 and Thursday and various items were stolen, state police said. The property is owned by Wylie Cheek and Lee Huffman. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.

Crash: No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle crash at 3:35 p.m. Friday on Route 21, west of Barton Road. State police said Lanny Dunmire failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle ran off the road and struck a guardrail.
