There will be single-lane restrictions as needed on the Liberty Bridge in Pittsburgh from Monday through Thursday for survey work and platform installation.

There also will be overnight single-lane closures in the Liberty Tunnel from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday for washing activities.

Short-term lane closures will occur on the Parkway West between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Sunday to install fiber-optic cable across the highway.

Monongahela Township Senior Center will hold a pumpkin painting contest from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the new community center, 110 Martins Ferry Road, Greensboro. Residents can look for signs to the center at the bottom of Stoney Hill.

The Greater Waynesburg Christian Outreach fundraiser Souper Sunday is noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Greene Community Church. The meal will consist of endless soup and bread. Cost is $5 per person or $20 for a family of four or more.
