PennDOT work schedule for the week of Oct. 26
The state Department of Transportation has announced the tentative work plan beginning Monday. Maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting.
Greene County Maintenance Manager Jerry Simkovic urges motorists to drive with caution through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the use of headlights.
• Bridge replacement work will be conducted on Route 1023 in Cumberland Township.
• Drainage and joint sealing will begin on Interstate 79 between Waynesburg and Ruff Creek.
• Drainage remediation work is slated to begin on various routes in Greene, Monongahela and Cumberland townships.
• Spray patching will starts on Route 3012, Greene Valley and Aleppo roads in Aleppo Township.
• Washout repairs will be conducted on Route 2018, Kirby Road, in Whiteley Township near Willard.
• Pothole repairs will be done on Route 18, Golden Oaks Road, in Jackson Township; Route 3005, Herod Run Road, in Aleppo Township; Route 21 in Richhill Township; and Route 19 in Waynesburg.
• Signs will be updated, downed signs replaced and other concerns addressed on various state roads throughout the county.
