The Chartiers Township Recreation Department is sponsoring a Veterans Day spaghetti luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 11.

All veterans will not pay and guests will be charged $5 for spaghetti, meatballs, salad, rolls, drinks and dessert to be served at the Chartiers Township Community Center, 2013 Community Center Drive, adjacent to Chartiers-Houston High School.

First Transit will provide free transportation from the center that will leave at 9 a.m. for the Cemetery of the Alleghenies for the 11 a.m. ceremony and then return to the center for lunch. There also will be a pickup at the Canonsburg Senior Citizen Center at 9:30 a.m. and at the Cecil Senior Center at 10 a.m.
