Waynesburg state trooper receives award
Waynesburg Station State Trooper John Pash was presented with an award for 20 years of exemplary service to the commonwealth by Sgt. Steven Dowlin Thursday morning.
Pash enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police on Sept. 25, 1995. When he graduated, he was assigned to Troop B in Uniontown.
He was transferred to Troop B in Waynesburg April 8, 2006, and worked there ever since.
“If you have exemplary service for a number of set time frames or do something that helps the commonwealth, the state police will give you an award,” Dowlin said.
During his career, Pash received numerous letters of accommodations for his dedication to DUI enforcement.
