WAYNESBURG – Four criminal defendants pleaded guilty Thursday before Greene County President Judge Farley Toothman.

Nikia Marie Harris, 24, of 798 E. Greene St., Waynesburg offenses – endangering the welfare of a child, recklessly endangering another person, unsworn falsification to authorities, harassment; on Dec. 16, Harris’s two-year-old son was found with bruises on his body; her boyfriend, Brandon Litten, was charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident; sentence – 3 years of county intermediate punishment, $1,000 fine, 75 hours of community service.

Sally Lee Senay, 67, of 689 Ackley Creek Road, West Finley; offenses – driving under the influence of alcohol, a summary traffic violation; arrested Sept. 6, 2014, after her vehicle struck the sidewalk in Rogersville, Senay had a blood-alcohol content level of .228 percent; sentence – to be sentenced following preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Joseph James Dean II, 26, of 254 Haines Road, Carmichaels; offenses – delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, use of a communications facility; on Aug. 28, 2014, Dean sold 11 stamp bags of heroin in a controlled buy to a confidential informant working with Cumberland Township police; sentence – to be evaluated for the state intermediate punishment program.

Waylon Hodge Hanlan, 27, of Mt. Morris; offenses: simple assault disorderly conduct and harassment; fleeing or attempting to elude police, tampering with evidence, recklessly endangering another person and five summary traffic violations; Hanlon was arrested Jan. 18 for hitting a man in the head with a hard object in Cumberland Township; he was arrested Feb. 2 after he failed to stop his vehicle for police for an expired sticker in Perry Township; sentence – 9 to 23 ½ months in jail, $1,175 in fines.
