Washington & Jefferson College will host Mary Montague, an international peacemaker, for a public seminar Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rossin Ballroom.

Montague acted as a mediator in the conflict of her native Northern Ireland and other areas of crisis, including Kosovo, the Middle East and Northern Africa.

Jim Longo, chairman of the college’s education department, said Montague will speak about mediating and the role of the community in conflict resolution.
