Parkway West restrictions slated through Thursday
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced the following restrictions on the Parkway West (Interstate 376) because of construction.
• Deck repairs on the bridge taking Route 22/30 over the parkway in Robinson Township, Allegheny County, will be made Monday through Wednesday. The far right lane in each direction under the overpass will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Off-ramps to Route 22/30 Weirton (Exit 60A) and Route 60 Crafton (Exit 60B) interchanges beyond the overpass will remain open.
• Patching on the eastbound side in Findlay Township will begin at 7 a.m. Monday. About a half-mile of the roadway from the I-576 ramp will close for about two weeks; two eastbound lanes will remain open. The ramp will be narrowed.
• The Parkway West eastbound (inbound to Pittsburgh), from the I-79 interchange (Exit 64A) to the Fort Pitt Bridge, will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. starting Monday night and ending Thursday morning.
• Also during those hours, overhead sign repairs and other work will cause single-lane closures westbound at certain spots between the Fort Pitt Tunnel and I-79.
All work is dependent on the weather.
