Forged checks: State police charged Ashlee M. Kniha, 29, of 428 4th St., Waynesburg, with two counts each of forgery, theft, identity theft for allegedly stealing two checks from a Franklin Township woman and cashing them for a combined $1,037 in July.

Man punched: Brett M. Dulaney, 33, of 125 Valley Farm Drive, Waynesburg, was cited for harassment after state police said he punched a man in the head at his Franklin Township home Aug. 12.

Car vandalized: State police charged Teresa M. Jones. 45, of 142 Kuhn Hill Road, Wind Ridge, with terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct following an incident with a woman in Springhill Township Thursday night. Police said Jones called and threatened Carmen Aberegg over the phone and then damaged the woman’s car with a crowbar while it was parked at her Laurel Run Road home about 7:40 p.m. Police did not say what prompted the incident.

Property vandalized: A motorist drove a pickup truck onto the property of a Wayne Township home at 132 Spraggs Road early Monday and performed burnouts, causing damage to the area, Southwest Regional police said.
