The Washington Area Humane Society will host its fourth annual dog swim at Mineral Beach, Route 88, Finleyville, at 5 p.m. Monday Well-socialized dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds are welcome. Same-day, on-site registration is $15 for one dog, and $5 for each additional dog. A copy of the rabies certificate is required for each dog.

All proceeds benefit the humane society and the dogs and cats it houses until they can find new homes.

“This is one of the biggest events of the year for WAHS,” said Lynette Vybiral, director of development and events. “The community really comes out to support the shelter, and it’s a great time for everyone, two- and four-legged.”
