PennDOT lists restrictions, night closures

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced road restrictions in and near Pittsburgh beginning Tuesday.
PennDOT will resume closures on Interstate 376 (Parkway West) inbound from the I-79 exit through the Fort Pitt Tunnel. The roadway will be closed 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, weather permitting. A detour will be posted.
Single lanes outbound also will be closed overnight at various locations on I-376 to accommodate overhead sign structure repairs. Restrictions likewise will be between the Fort Pitt Tunnel and I-79, and will begin at 9 p.m. Tuesday and Friday and an hour after the Pirates game Thursday.
Survey work and platform installation on the Liberty Bridge, Pittsburgh, will begin Tuesday, weather permitting. Single-lane restrictions will be employed as needed through Oct. 2 according to this schedule: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; 8 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday; 6 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday; and 6 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
