A country music concert will be held at New Freeport fire hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Two musicians, Larry Santee and Bob Podish, will perform. Admission is $4 and the event is sponsored by the ladies’ auxiliary.

A free fishing day will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Waynesburg Sportsman Association on Rolling Meadows Road in Franklin Township. Hot dogs and soda are free to those who attend.
