Two men sitting in pickup truck killed in Pittsburgh shooting

PITTSBURGH – Authorities in Western Pennsylvania said two men died following a shooting in Pittsburgh.

The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office said 28-year-old Jamie Romesburg of Carnegie died at the scene of the 3 p.m. Friday gunfire in the Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood.

The coroner’s office said 25-year-old Kenneth Beckel of Carnegie died at Allegheny General Hospital at about 11:45 p.m. Friday.

Police said the two were in a silver pickup truck when witnesses reported three or four shots. Investigators said it appeared the victims were targeted.

Police were searching for a man believed to have been involved in the shooting and who was last seen running down the street.
