Home burglary: Walter Gregorczyk reported to borough police Tuesday his house at 601 S. Central Ave. was burglarized over the weekend. Between $800 and $1,200 was reported missing, police said, and an undetermined amount of prescription morphine pills also were stolen.
Assault reported: Assault charges are expected to be filed against John McClain, no age or address given, after Canonsburg police responded Tuesday to a report of an altercation at 609 Weaver Ave. One of the residents, Jon McCoy, told police McClain assaulted him after he refused to let him use heroin in his house, police said. McCoy told police McClain then left.
Bicycle theft: Mike Livesay reported to police his son’s blue and black BMX Hyperbike was stolen Tuesday from the front of his residence at 132 E. Pitt St., borough police said. Livesay gave police surveillance video reportedly showing two juveniles taking the bicycle.
Pills stolen: Prescription pills were stolen Tuesday from an unlocked 2005 Hyundai parked on Ketchum Drive, Canonsburg police said.
Retail theft: Two women face retail theft charges after they allegedly stole merchandise from Macy’s department store at Washington Crown Center Friday, North Franklin police said. Leah Cox, 34, of 15 Webb Drive, Washington, and Terri Cox, 54, of 168 Rose Ave., Washington, each took clothing into the fitting rooms and attempted to leave with the items, police said. The two women had a 5-year-old child with them at the time, police said.
Theft from truck: Two Stihl FS-250 brush cutters were reported stolen from the back of a pickup truck parked Sept. 8 on Deerfield Road, state police said.
Trimmer stolen: A Husqvarna weed trimmer was stolen Tuesday from the front of a residence at 156 Floral Hill Drive, South Strabane police said.

Girl harassed: State police cited Kenneth C. Tritchler, 70, of 540 Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris, for harassment after troopers said he touched a 15-year-old girl’s hair and neck before making a sexual comment to her Aug. 28 while in the kitchen of State Line Bar in Perry Township.
Access device fraud: Ryan E. Tuttle, 18, of 135 Ferrell Ave., Wind Ridge, was charged with access device fraud Tuesday after state police said he stole another person’s debit card and tried to use it to buy a pepperoni roll with cash back at Stokes General Store in Richhill Township June 18.
Man cited for harassment: William K. Deletto, 44, of 799 Race St., Waynesburg, was cited for harassment after borough police said he threatened to assault a woman at his home Sept. 4.
