PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police have been searching for two shooters who opened fire on a gathering at a residence and wounded two children and an adult.

Police say the 3- and 12-year-old victims were taken to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC in stable condition. The 12-year-old was struck by a bullet – though police wouldn’t say where – and the toddler was grazed by another bullet.

The 49-year-old female was taken to UPMC Presbyterian hospital, also in stable condition.

Police say several vehicles were also hit by the gunfire, which came from across the street. The shooters wore dark clothing and ran away about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The shooting was in the city’s Homewood neighborhood, one of the most violent in the city.
