The Waynesburg High School Class of 1954 will hold its 61st annual get-together this weekend. On Friday, there will be a pizza buffet at Sorella’s Pizzeria in Mt. Morris at 4 p.m.; on Saturday will be dinner from the menu at 5 p.m. at The Perfect Round at Rohanna’s Golf Course. For more information, contact Dena at 724-627-9627 or denabill9627@windstream.net.

People can still register a team for the Greene County Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which will be held Saturday, at Wana B Park. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. The opening ceremony will be at 9:30 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10 a.m. While people can sign up in person Saturday morning, online registration closes at noon Friday. A rummage sale and lunch will be held at Washington Street United Methodist Church in Waynesburg on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 1 and 2. The rummage sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Take-outs will be available; for deliveries, call 724-627-3240.

The Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club will meet Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. at the Carmichaels Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The guest speaker will be Elizabeth Menhart, who is the director of Greene County Tourism. All members are encouraged to attend. New members are also welcome.
