Air and water monitoring program offered

Buffalo Township and the Buffalo Creek Watershed Association will hold an informational program about air and water monitoring from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 400 Buffalo Center Lane, Washington.

The program will include an overview of health effects associated with exposure to impaired air and water, a demonstration of the Speck air monitor and CATTfish water monitoring home-use device developed by Carnegie Mellon University and a discussion of eligibility for free monitoring on in-home air and water quality.
