Parkway West outbound closure planned this weekend

The outbound lanes of the Parkway West (Interstate 376) and Fort Pitt Tunnel will close from 9 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday between the Fort Pitt Bridge and the Interstate 79 interchange.

Crews will do paving work as well as shoulder reconstruction and median barrier work. Concrete repair work also will continue in the tunnel.

All outbound traffic will be detoured. There also will be single-lane restrictions on the inbound side of the highway from 9 p.m. to noon, Friday and Saturday nights.
