Driver faces charges: Justine A. Semack, 28, of 327 Giffin Ave., Canonsburg, faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after she reportedly struck a utility pole with her car at First Street and Highland Avenue about 10 p.m. Tuesday and left the scene. Police found her car, which had a cracked windshield, where her head apparently hit the windshield. Semack was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment. Blood also was drawn to determine her alcohol level.

Business, vehicles egged: The owner of Campbell’s Auto Repair, 115 Ashland Ave., told Canonsburg police Tuesday the business and vehicles in the lot were hit with eggs. Surveillance shows two females getting eggs out of a carton and throwing them. Police were able to identify one of the two and charges are pending.

ATV rider injured: Michael A. Harden, 21, of 1497 Bedillion Road, South Franklin, was injured Sunday afternoon when he crashed the all-terrain vehicle he was operating after making a jump on a homemade track on property owned by his father at 1409 Bedillion, state police said. He was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment. Firefighters from South Franklin and Morris townships assisted at the scene.

Card accessed: Lily Tan of Rowland Heights, Calif., told South Strabane police Monday information from her debit card was used to make $1,400 in purchases at Target, Strabane Square.

Retail theft charge: Maryanne MacFarlane, 43, of 1660 Pierce Ave., Washington, was charged last week by South Strabane police with retail theft after she allegedly stole items valued at $250 from Walmart, Trinity Point. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Heroin found: Natasha M. Still, 28, of 1 Juniper St., Ellsworth, was charged last week by state police with possession of heroin after she was found with a stamp bag in her possession when a trooper investigated a crash Aug. 25 on Interstate 70 west near the Murtland Avenue exit, South Strabane. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Driver injured: William Funk, 78, of Taylor Drive, Canonsburg, was injured Tuesday afternoon when his vehicle hit a tree at North Main Street and Brady Avenue, Washington police said. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

Money stolen: Juan Corchado, 8 W. Maiden St., told Washington police Tuesday $400 was stolen from his apartment.

Vehicle damaged: Ken Alberta, 400 Burton Ave., told Washington police Monday the driver’s door on his vehicle was dented by vandals.

Two face charges: Tanner Mooney, 18, and Chelsea Cole, 22, both of 38 W. Walnut St., will be charged with harassment for allegedly assaulting each other during a fight Monday. Mooney declined treatment for his injuries while Cole was taken to Washington Hospital.

Teen to be charged: A 13-year-old Jollick Manor boy will be charged by Washington police with criminal mischief for allegedly breaking a window on the side of the Washington Fire Department, West Wheeling Street, on Monday.

Man faces charges: Steven C. Law IV, 23, of 332 Sprowls Ave., Houston, was placed in Washington County jail Monday on a parole violation. State police stopped a vehicle in which Law was a passenger. Police said Law jumped from the vehicle and ran to Bassett Avenue, where he was apprehended. Police found a suspected bag of crack on Law and a small amount of marijuana in a cigarette carton near the vehicle. Law was wanted on a warrant. He will be charged with flight to avoid apprehension, resisting arrest, possession of crack and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Marijuana charge: Atrio A. Walker, 26, of 22 Ellzey St., Pittsburgh, will be charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop July 11 on Jefferson Avenue, state police said. The officer smelled marijuana upon approaching the vehicle. Police found a small bag of marijuana and a marijuana grinder. Charges will be sent from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Possession charge: Amber L. Greely, 27, of 283 Festival Road, Washington, will be charged with possession of a controlled substance and after a vehicle stop Saturday on Jefferson Avenue, state police said. Police found a hydrocodone pill in a bag in the car. Charges will be sent from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
