Burglars sought in office break-in
Washington police are looking for two people suspected of burglarizing the Washington Trust Building on South Main Street on Aug. 22.
The break-in was reported Aug. 24. Pry marks were found on the doors of all of the offices in the building, but only one office was entered, police Detective Dan Rush said.
Two Coach purses were stolen from that office.
Both suspects are black. The man is heavyset, appears to be in his mid to late 40s and was wearing glasses and a porkpie hat.
The woman also is heavyset and in her mid to late 40s. She has a bobbed-style haircut.
