A Cumberland Township woman injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on Route 21 in Khedive remained in critical condition Wednesday afternoon at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

Marion Rich, 87, was pulling out of her driveway onto Route 21 shortly before 9 a.m. when her car was hit in the driver’s side rear door by a pickup truck traveling west on the road. The driver of the pickup, Chad Kittle, 21, of Nemacolin, was not injured.

The Cumberland Township Police Department is investigating the crash, which resulted in the closing of the highway for more than four hours.
