Central Greene School District Relay for Life team and the Women of the Moose Relay for Life team are holding “Quartermania” from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The doors open at noon and the event will be held upstairs at Waynesburg Moose Lodge 461. Cost is $5 per person, plus make sure to bring lots of quarters. There are more than 50 items up for bid, including country décor, Vera Bradley bags, Pirates tickets, gift cards, candles and much more. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
A county hymn sing will be held at 9 p.m. Sunday at Pine Bank United Methodist Church. Light refreshments will be served following the hymn sing. The public is invited to attend.
The “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” program designed to help family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings better, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources will be held over the next several weeks. Classes will be held over six sessions at Waynesburg Community Center at 1505 Morris St. in Morrisville from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sessions are every Monday beginning April 11.
