Man shot inside Washington home
City police are searching for the person responsible for shooting a man inside a home Friday night.
Police responded to a shooting at 104 Harding Ave., about 8:10 p.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound to his hip.
He was taken by ambulance to Washington Hospital, and a medical helicopter was called in to transport the victim to a Pittsburgh hospital.
There were no updates on the victim’s condition, though police did not believe the injury was life-threatening.
The shooter fled the scene, police said.
A third male inside the house witnessed the shooting.
Police said they do not believe the three men are from the area.
