Fort Pitt Tunnel restrictions set
Restrictions are planned starting tonight in the Fort Pitt Tunnel in Pittsburgh.
There will be a single-lane restriction on the outbound side from 10 tonight to 5 a.m. Monday for maintenance and washing activities.
The outbound lanes will be closed Monday through Thursday night as crews from Mosites Construction make tunnel joint repairs and other construction-related work. The closures will occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. A detour will be posted.
There also will be single-lane restrictions on the Parkway West (Interstate 376), Monday through Thursday nights, weather permitting. The restrictions will occur in each direction between the Greentree Road and Banksville Road interchanges from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. so crews can do barrier repair work.
