Shooting leaves 3 dead, 1 wounded; suspect in custody
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Police say three people have been shot and killed and a fourth person was wounded before a suspect was arrested after a short standoff in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood.
Philly.com reports (http://bit.ly/1W98hz9 ) police responded to multiple 911 calls of shots fired at about 4 a.m. and found the suspected shooter holed up in a home. The man surrendered about an hour later.
Inside the home, police say they found the bodies of the shooting suspect’s brother, the brother’s girlfriend and another man who lived in the home. Another man was found shot about a block away and was taken to a hospital. He was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
