I-79 work planned in South Fayette

Lane restrictions will take effect on Interstate 79 southbound in South Fayette Township on Friday, weather permitting.

Lane restrictions will occur between the Route 50/Bridgeville interchange and the Allegheny County rest area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. At least one southbound lane will remain open at all times. Interchanges and the rest area will remain open.

Crews from Swank Construction Co. will be sealing joints.
