A Dilliner woman was charged after she allegedly stabbed her housemate during a fight Monday night in their home.

State police arrested Christine Ann Johnson, 36, of 632 Walnut Hill Road, and accused her of stabbing Eric James Robinson, 44, of the same address.

Police said the two were fighting about 10:40 p.m. when Johnson grabbed an 8-inch knife and stabbed Robinson in the lower left side of the abdomen.

Robinson suffered about a six-inch cut, police said. He was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., where he was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

During the altercation, Robinson allegedly struck Johnson’s 13-year-old daughter, police said. After Johnson allegedly stabbed Robinson, she and her daughter fled, according to police.

Police said Johnson suffered two black eyes and several small scratches on her neck. Her daughter had a red, swollen left cheek and a small cut on her hand. Both said their injuries were inflicted by Robinson.

Johnson was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. She was arraigned before District Judge Jesse Cramer and placed in Greene County jail on $7,500 bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. May 3.

Robinson was charged with two counts each of simple assault and harassment. He had not yet been arraigned on the charges Tuesday morning.
