Police beat April 28
Assault charge: John Kadonick, 32, of 8 Powerhouse Road, Coal Center, was charged Monday by California police with simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct stemming from an alleged physical altercation during an April 21 domestic dispute at his home. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Harassment charge: Michael Twardon of Washington will be charged by state police with harassment after he allegedly got into a physical confrontation Sunday with Monique Dellarso, also of Washington, on Hilltop Lane in Canton.
Drug charge: Police charged Kenneth Anderson, 22, of Library, with possession of a small amount of marijuana Sunday. Anderson was a passenger in a car that was stopped by police at the intersection of Springdale and Hill Place roads.
Multiple charges: Police were called Monday to the 900 block of Church Hill Road, where Angela Smith said her boyfriend, James Dagger, 37, of Library, pushed her to the ground and took her car keys. Dagger was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, harassment and driving while under suspension.
Fugitive apprehended: Brian Allen Still Sr., 62, of 130 E. Katherine Ave., Washington, was arrested Tuesday as a fugitive from justice by state police. His identity was confirmed through a state Department of Transportation facial-recognition investigation, and police determined that he had an active warrant issued in October 2002 by authorities in Canton County, Ky., on an escape charge. He was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis. Still is being held without bond in the Washington County jail for 30 days, pending extradition to Kentucky.
Possession charge: Riley Day, 19, of 670 Henderson Ave., Washington, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Wednesday. According to Washington police, an officer responded to a report of a domestic dispute Dec. 10 and smelled marijuana. Day allegedly admitted that a glass bong and metal grinder belonged to her. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Drug charge: Chris Patterson, 31, of 253 Reed Ave., Houston, was charged with possession of a controlled substance Wednesday after Washington police allegedly found him in possession of cocaine. Patterson was a passenger in a car parked in the 900 block of Allison Avenue Friday. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Possession charge: Laurie Blackburn, 38, of 1320 Allison Ave., Washington, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Wednesday. According to Washington police, Blackburn was a passenger in a vehicle stopped Friday in the 900 block of Jefferson Avenue. An officer allegedly found four needles and a crack pipe in her possession. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
