Police beat April 29
Burglary: A container of change and medication were stolen in a burglary at a Holbrook home between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. A heavy-set white male and a black compact vehicle were seen at the residence, police said.
Crash: No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle crash at 1:09 p.m. Monday on Route 188 at Lippencott Road. State police said Donald L. Cumberledge, 39, of Waynesburg swerved to avoid stopped traffic. His vehicle ran off the road and struck a culvert and utility pole.
Two cited for fighting: Waynesburg police cited two borough men for fighting April 19 on West High Street near their homes. Police said John R. Stage, 45, of 260 W. High St. Lot 4, and Donald W. Gray, 35, of 260 W. High St. Lot 3, got into the fight at 7:41 p.m. Stage was cited for disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness, while Gray was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment. Police said Stage threatened Gray again about 90 minutes later and he now faces addition citations of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
