A young fisherman discovered the body of a woman in Cokeburg Dam Tuesday afternoon.

A group of youths found a woman’s body floating in the Cokeburg Dam in North Bethlehem Township about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Washington County Coroner Tim Warco identified the woman as Hi Su Wytovich, 65, of Cokeburg.

Wytovich’s husband reported her missing to state police Tuesday morning, Warco said.

The case is being treated as a suicide.

According to Warco, the children were fishing at the dam when they spotted a bright color in the water.

Cokeburg firefighter Dustin Reedy said a boy reeled in the body.

Eyewitnesses called 911, and emergency personnel pulled the body from the water.

Assisting state police at the scene were Cokeburg and Bentleyville fire departments and Bearcat EMS.

State police are continuing their investigation.
