DONORA – A Donora woman was charged in what borough police said was a “brief prostitution sting” Saturday at her residence.

Borough police Tuesday filed charges of promoting prostitution and possesson of drug paraphernalia against Loretta Mae Figolah, 32, over allegations an undercover officer arranged in text messages to pay her $160 for sex, court records show.

The officer contacted her after being told Figolah allegedly placed an advertisement on a website.

The woman’s relative, Bobbie Lea Figolah, 34, is charged with running from their home at 506 Allen Ave. when police arrived there about 3 a.m., the record indicates. She is charged with flight, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

District Judge Mark Wilson signed a warrant Tuesday for the arrest of Loretta Figolah. Bobbie Figolah is in Washington County jail on a probation violation, awaiting her arraignment in this case.
