Firefighters from several local fire departments responded to a blaze Wednesday night at Suzie B’s restaurant in North Strabane Township.

North Strabane fire chief Mark Grimm said the fire broke out in the kitchen shortly before 9 p.m. Firefighters extinguished the fire quickly, but the restaurant’s kitchen sustained smoke damage, Grimm said.

Firefighters from Canonsburg, Chartiers, Houston and Peters Township fire departments assisted at the scene.
