Pike Street restriction in place
A single-lane restriction will be in place on a section of Pike Street, between Adams Avenue in Canonsburg through Houston to Vandale Drive in Chartiers Township, through Aug. 26, weather permitting.
Work has already begun and will take place between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers 10 hours a day along Pike Street, and through traffic will be maintained, the state Department of Transportation said. Crews will be doing milling, leveling and various roadway improvements.
