Police searching for driver who struck man with truck
Waynesburg police have a warrant for the arrest of a 29-year-old borough man who allegedly struck another person with his truck during a dispute July 12.
Logan John Lynn Miller, who lives in an apartment at 260 W. High St., was in the parking lot of Belko Foods on Richhill Street when witnesses said they saw Nicholas Demaske talking to Miller because he allegedly owed Demaske money, police said.
Demaske started walking around the truck to the driver’s side, when Miller allegedly rolled up the windows, put the vehicle in reverse and struck Demaske before leaving the scene, the complaint states.
Demaske was taken by ambulance to WHS-Greene hospital with cuts to his head and his back.
Miller was charged Tuesday with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person, although police are still looking for him. He was driving a 1993 red Ford Ranger truck owned by his father, Marvin Miller, police said.
Anyone with information on Miller’s location is asked to call borough police at 724-627-8113.
