Belle Vernon man killed outside bar
A Belle Vernon man died of multiple gunshot wounds Saturday after a shooting at an Allegheny County bar that also wounded two women.
Johnathan W. Minnie, 27, was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m. Saturday by Washington County Coroner Tim Warco.
According to the coroner’s report, Minnie was standing in the parking lot of Saloon 136, 3383 Rainbow Run Road, Forward Township, with a group of friends at about 1:51 a.m. when they were approached by a vehicle and shots were fired at the group.
Allegheny County officials said in a statement two women, both 27, were also wounded in the shooting. They were taken to local hospitals and are listed in stable condition.
County officials are not releasing the female victims’ names.
Minnie was transported to the Mon Valley Hospital emergency room where he was pronounced dead, Warco said.
The shooting is under investigation by Allegheny County police.
